Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information PickAIModel.com may collect, how it is used, when it may be shared, and what assumptions the current public site does and does not make about tracking, analytics, and user accounts.

Effective March 26, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to PickAIModel.com and its public pages, including the leaderboard, model pages, methodology page, and any future forms or communications linked from the site.

It covers information collected directly from you, information processed automatically through normal website operation, and information we receive from vendors needed to host, secure, or operate the site.

Information we may collect

Based on the current implementation, the site does not offer password-based public user accounts, but it does use email-based access for newsletter and support workflows. The public bundle does not currently ship a third-party analytics SDK. Even so, normal website operation may still involve server-side request logs and technical metadata processed by the hosting stack.

  • Information you voluntarily provide, such as a name, email address, or message, if you contact us or use a newsletter signup or similar form made available on the site.
  • If you use the contact form, we may also process anti-abuse verification data and limited technical signals needed to block automated submissions.
  • If you request newsletter access, we may process your email address and a signed access session cookie so the site can remember that you are verified for the current browser session.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device data, approximate geolocation derived from IP, referring page, and request timestamps that may appear in hosting, CDN, or security logs.
  • Operational information needed to defend the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain service availability.

How we use information

We use information to operate, secure, and improve the site; respond to messages you send us; maintain records of affiliate and editorial disclosures; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not state that we sell personal information. If our practices change in a way that triggers additional notice or opt-out obligations, this policy will be updated before those changes go live where required by law.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers and infrastructure vendors that help host, secure, deliver, or support the site, but only to the extent reasonably necessary for those services.

If you use a newsletter signup or contact form, your submission may be processed by a form-delivery provider so the message can reach us.

For the contact form, this can include anti-abuse verification providers and email-delivery vendors needed to validate and forward the message safely.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce site terms, investigate misuse, or protect the rights, safety, and property of the site, its users, or others.

Cookies and similar technologies

The current public implementation does not describe an active third-party analytics or ad-tech cookie deployment. However, essential technical cookies or local browser storage may still be used by the framework, hosting stack, or future site features to support normal functionality, security, or preferences.

If we later add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this policy and any related notices to reflect those changes.

Data retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including site security, troubleshooting, recordkeeping, and legal compliance.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no website or transmission method is completely secure. You should not send highly sensitive information to the site unless and until a secure channel for that purpose is explicitly provided.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information, and you may have rights related to sale, sharing, or portability where applicable law provides them.

Because the current site has limited direct personal-data collection functionality, some requests may be limited by the information we actually hold and by legal exceptions. If a rights-request channel is added, this policy will be updated with the process details.

Children

PickAIModel.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public site. If we learn that such information has been collected in a manner that requires deletion, we will take reasonable steps to address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice based on the nature of the change and applicable law.

This policy is designed to satisfy standard website disclosure expectations, including conspicuous posting and category-based disclosure. It reflects the site's current implementation as of March 26, 2026. If you later add analytics, advertising tech, user accounts, or live data-collection flows, this page should be revised immediately and reviewed by counsel.
